On a recent post I said that I seldom stop to photograph buteos on utility poles but yesterday morning I made an exception for a young Ferruginous Hawk. A dramatic, spinning takeoff made me glad I did. (5 images)
Yesterday morning I had more problems with differential heat waves? at Bear River MBR. If this keeps up I’m thinking about taking up knitting instead of bird photography. After all, the world needs another Rosey Grier. (6 photos)
