is going to be a challenge for me.\u00a0 For years they&#8217;ve been called Blue Grouse, with two recognized sub-species &#8211; Dusky Grouse and Sooty Grouse.\u00a0 But based on recent mitochondrial DNA studies the two sub-species of Blue Grouse are now recognized as separate species.\u00a0 Apparently the common name &#8220;Blue Grouse&#8221; the bird flew off.\u00a0 \u00a0I talked to him for\u00a0a minute or so and thanked him for his kind deed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In the past I&#8217;ve taken the occasional <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/featheredphotography.com\/blog\/2011\/12\/10\/3413\/\" target=\"_blank\">pot shot<\/a><\/strong> at hunters on this blog.\u00a0 But the considerate act of this\u00a0sportsman reminds me once again to avoid stereotypes &#8211;
