I’m no landscape photographer but I sure enjoyed this view coming down the mountain every morning.<\/p>\n

On my recent camping trip my campsite was in the mountains of Idaho but most of my quest for birds occurred further to the northeast in the Centennial Valley of Montana and surrounding area so I tried to leave camp before dawn. This was my view of the Teton Range as I came down the mountain from my campsite.<\/p>\n

Typically I’d stop and soak it all in for a few moments but this time I had to take a few shots. But it wouldn’t last long. I’m looking generally east so in a few minutes when the sun came up it would be so bright over there I often could barely see the mountains.<\/p>\n

I’ve made this image larger than I usually do (1100 pixels on the long side vs 900 pixels) so we can appreciate it more.<\/p>\n
