He had been in the air for some time as he hunted very\u00a0&#8220;low and slow&#8221; &#8211; so slow that he&#8217;s in\u00a0danger of stalling in flight\u00a0which accounts for his widely flared tail and leg position. He had been looking down most of the\u00a0time but as he got closer to me he would occasionally\u00a0look in my direction\u00a0to make sure I wasn&#8217;t a threat.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">This dubious look is similar to one I used to get from my ex-wife (deservedly so, I&#8217;m sure) and it always makes me smile.
