Just a quick post this afternoon to announce a change in the posting schedule\u00a0of Feathered Photography.<\/p>\n

Almost from the beginning I published my posts early in the morning and I did so for several years.\u00a0 By nature I’m both a creature of habit and a morning person so I prefer to work up my images in the evening and then compose and publish my posts early the following morning.\u00a0 From feedback I’ve received from readers I know that many of you also prefer a morning posting schedule – lots of folks thought my posts went well with their morning coffee…<\/p>\n

But a few months ago, because of problems with my server (a long, frustrating and complicated story),\u00a0 I was forced to alter my publishing schedule and begin posting in the\u00a0late afternoon (my time).\u00a0 I know that the change didn’t sit well with some of you and it didn’t with me either.<\/p>\n

But now I’m happy to announce that we believe<\/em> we have solved the server problems\u00a0and I plan on going back to my old schedule,\u00a0beginning tomorrow morning.<\/p>\n

In honor of the momentous (for me) occasion I include this shot of a Bald Eagle as it was about to take off from its perch.\u00a0 The image was taken this past May 30th in Montana’s Centennial Valley.\u00a0 I chose this particular image because it was taken at 5:42 AM.\u00a0 The eagle is definitely an “early bird” and so was I on the morning I took the shot.\u00a0 I’d been up since about 4 AM.<\/p>\n

This is what it often looks like up there that early in the morning.\u00a0 This shot was taken right in front of my camping\u00a0trailer at 4:47 AM.\u00a0 As you can see, I have good reason to get up early.<\/p>\n

I hope this scheduling change works well\u00a0for you (though I realize that for some it won’t matter).<\/p>\n
