I haven’t missed a daily blog post since, well – forever.\u00a0 This morning I did and this is why.<\/p>\n

\"southern<\/a><\/p>\n

When we left last Wednesday for a camping\/photo trip to southern Utah I planned on returning by Saturday so I only prepared and scheduled\u00a0three blog posts.\u00a0 <\/em>But the best\u00a0laid plans of mice and men oft go astray…<\/em><\/p>\n

Here’s where we spent the last four days – that’s my camping trailer at middle-bottom.\u00a0 It was the kind of camp site we prefer – dispersed camping out in the middle of nowhere, by ourselves and in a spectacular setting.\u00a0 And this time we had the added bonus of birds.\u00a0 Great birds!\u00a0 There was simply no way we could leave before we had\u00a0to.\u00a0 So we didn’t.<\/p>\n

We just got home a few hours ago.\u00a0 This post is meant to explain my unusual “absence” this morning.\u00a0 Tomorrow morning I’ll post\u00a0my first bird or two from this trip.<\/p>\n
