I made another rookie mistake, this time with my Thanksgiving turkey.<\/p>\n

Happy Thanksgiving to all Feathered Photography-ites out there, wherever you may be. I hope everyone has a memorable, safe day and holiday weekend with family and friends, including but not limited to a delectable and bounteous Thanksgiving dinner.<\/p>\n

As for me, due to a rookie mistake I made with my turkey, I’ll probably be having something like pizza for my Thanksgiving repast. I bought a moderately sized frozen turkey breast about nine days before Thanksgiving and within just over 2 days in my 39\u00b0 fridge it was already completely thawed out.<\/p>\n

I didn’t dare wait until Thanksgiving to cook it so I’ve already been eating turkey for two days.<\/p>\n

When it comes to poultry safety, I don’t mess around.<\/p>\n
