The reason I haven’t been out shooting for the last few days? I’ve been preparing for company.<\/p>\n

Yesterday I had a long-overdue visitor – my grandson Ryan (Shannon’s son). Ryan lives in Florida and it’s been about five years since I’ve seen him so we had a lot of catching up to do. His visit was shorter than I expected, and hoped for, but the time we had together will be cherished.<\/p>\n

Ryan will turn 30 this week. I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around having a 30-year-old grandson. How can I possibly be that old?<\/p>\n

He asked for a tour of my garden in the mid-day heat so of course he picked a few tomatoes. And yes, we had BLT’s for lunch.<\/p>\n

Happy trails, Ryan. After your first flight cancellation, I hope you made all the rest of your flight connections – despite Hurricane Debby.<\/p>\n
