<\/p>\nCheck out her thick eyelashes and unusually long eyebrow hairs.<\/p>\n
When I photograph pronghorn I usually concentrate on the bucks, which doesn’t seem quite fair. Or right. So today I’m featuring a doe and I think she’s a real beauty.<\/p>\n

I found her all by herself four days ago on Antelope Island. Because of the time of year and the fact that she was alone, I have to wonder if she didn’t have a fawn or two hidden nearby. Here she’s giving me the once-over before trotting away.<\/p>\n
I think she’s a real looker with those huge doe eyes, facial markings and perky, forward-facing ears. And I swear I can see just a hint of a smile.<\/p>\n
Until I looked at this photo more carefully I had no idea that…<\/p>\n

pronghorn have such incredibly long eyebrow hairs. One of these appears to be nearly 3″ long. And her thick, downward-pointing eyelashes are pretty impressive too.<\/p>\n
When we pay attention there’s always something new waiting to be revealed by the camera, even with the commonplace.<\/p>\n
