send amaranth seeds<\/a><\/span><\/span> to as many readers as wanted them, until I ran out of seeds. The first time I offered the seeds only one reader, Judy Gusick, took me up on it so I expected there wouldn’t be much interest in them. I was surprised when I was flooded with requests within just a couple of hours of publishing that post.<\/p>\nAt that point I knew that more readers were interested than I had seeds to share so I stopped sending out my mailing address after I got the first 17 requests (without my mailing address readers couldn’t send me their SASE, so at least I saved those folks a stamp). I also gave seeds personally to several locals who requested them.<\/p>\n
Because of my surgery recovery I’ve been slow in sending out the seeds but yesterday, after finally deciding I had no choice but to begin taking some of my opiate pain pills, I felt well enough to get it done.<\/p>\n
