I have some very sad news. (3 photos)

It’s always heartwarming when an injured raptor can be released back into the wild but this one was special.

I’m happy to report that Galileo is doing very well.

Yesterday I was reacquainted with an old feathered friend.

Yesterday was the long-awaited day.

Injured birds are always heart-wrenching and I like to help when I can but sometimes attempting to do so isn’t practical or even wise.
