I’ve posted three other photos of this bird in the past but I think this one also deserves to be seen. After all, I don’t get many opportunities with Golden Eagles, especially in flight, in good light and reasonably close.

It’s been a while, a long while, but yesterday morning I finally got back into the field again. An adult Golden Eagle in flight was one of my rewards.
Yesterday morning was my first time out shooting in 29 days. It (mostly) felt very, very good. (3 images)
