Green Heron Seeming To Defy The Laws Of Gravity

Technically Green Heron’s aren’t considered to be rare in Utah but they’re close. This one was a lifer for me.

Birds were slow in the mountains yesterday but there were a couple of bright spots and one of them was totally unexpected.

When I find a bird in a situation unfavorable for photography I tend to try harder if it’s a kingfisher.

American Kestrels are known for their badassery but yesterday morning this ballsy male cranked it up a notch. Or three.
