Just a quick post from the road. Hope this works!
I photographed this adult red-tail yesterday morning near Scipio, Utah. Usually in these situations the bird has just taken off so I was happy to get this one in full flight with the legs and feet tucked.
Image processed on a laptop so I don’t have any idea how it really looks.
Ron
Ron, wonderful wing detail. Thanks for taking the time to show us.
Nice Capture Ron,hope the rest of your trip goes as well.
Your photo looks wonderful. I took a pic of a Red Tail taking off the other day. The head was out of the frame. You could make out the wings, sort of. The feet looked real good though lol. Back to the drawing board I guess.
thank you everyone.it’s looking hopeful that I’ll be able to post each day during my trip.
It most definitely did work.
Have a wonderful, wonderful bird-filled trip.
Hi Ron,
Looks like the shadow detail could be opened up some.
Enjoy your Safari!
Looks good on my laptop! Hope you’re having a great trip.
Gorgeous light and shadow on the hawk, especially that red tail and head…with the elusive light in the eye!
Looks great! I see no loss of quality, just a gorgeous image of a magnificent bird…you even caught the light in the eye…All hawks are”little brother”to the eagle, but especially the red-tail. I hope things are going well…
Good work Ron
It almost looked like the images you send from your home.
Thank you for taking the time to share.
It looks great on my screen! Beautiful bird. Thanks for taking the time to post.
This really shows how aerodynamic they are. I love the clean lines.
